About the Role 

Your Impact as a Workday Integration Consultant 

Job Responsibilities: 


  • Work directly with our customers gathering and defining financial integration requirements as Project Lead, on new integration deployments as well as build new integrations systems for our existing customers,
  • Oversee the work delivered by those in your project team, ensuring quality and delivery are consistently met, 
  • Champion and deliver to our methodology to ensure consistency of service and completion of all milestones and deliverables to plan, 
  • Mentor and coach others in the team, helping to build their knowledge and skills, in- order-to improve our delivery service, 
  • Provide clear and detailed handover to Cloud Optimization (Also referred as AMS service provision) of project deliverables, 
  • Work with multiple Cloud Optimization clients, building productive, in-depth relationships, resolving requests for our Cloud Optimization clients, prioritizing work on client’s tickets and meeting the service level agreements targets,
  • Engage with initial implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition to Cloud Optimization, 
  • Consult with customers to deliver appropriate and forward-thinking solutions, 
  • Participate in the integration discovery process, obtaining a thorough understanding of the client's business requirements and identifying the most appropriate integration approach, 
  • Translate the client's requirements into a detailed design that fully leverages the Workday integration toolset, 
  • Fully utilize the Workday integration toolset to build robust integration solutions for our clients, 
  • Investigate and deliver solutions to issues raised by customers, 
  • Conduct root cause analysis and guide the client in implementing improvements and preventative measures, 
  • Participate in health checks on our client's Workday integration landscape; providing recommendations to ensure optimal performance, improve accuracy and ensure the client is maximizing their Workday investment, 
  • Contribute and champion team and company-wide employee engagement initiatives 
  • Actively contribute to the Integrations Team meetings regularly, 
  • Provide input into continuous process improvements based on your project experiences. 

Required Experience: 


  • 2+ years implementing Workday Integrations,
  • 2+ years consulting experience, either within a consulting/software organization or as an internal consultant, 
  • Thorough understanding of and experience in the application of modern integration technologies (EDI, REST and SOAP Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, middleware, Spring Framework, Workday Studio, SSL, TLS, Digital Certificates) 
  • Use excellent oral and written communications skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize, responding with a sense of urgency to immediate needs, 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change, 
  • Willingness to travel - up to 10% of your working time, 
  • Workday Integration Core is required
  • Full Workday deployment life-cycle experience as integration consultant. 

Education: 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, business, or other relevant field of study 
  • Professional level of English
  • If not already a holder of the relevant Workday Certifications, successful completion of appropriate Workday Certification(s) is a requirement of the role.
