The NOC Engineer will work as a team member of a global network team, which manages network devices on datacenters, offices and clouds in AMER/EMEA/APAC including firewalls, switches, routers and load balancers/reverse-proxies. The engineer will mainly work on designing and implementing projects as well as configuring complex change requests. Another responsibility will be to act as an escalation point for the Network Operation Team helping to resolve difficult issues.
Essential Duties
- Configuration, maintenance and optimization of the corporate global network.
- AWS/Azure clouds management through CodeCommit/Pipelines.
- MPLS, VPN, Ethernet technologies understanding.
- Experience/Proven knowledge of TCP/IP protocol.
- Tasks automation with Python or other preferred language.
- Customers, 3rd parties and vendors handling.
- Switches/firewalls administration knowledge.
- Infrastructure monitoring ensuring stability.
- Routing protocols comprehension: OSPF, BGP, RIP
- Switching protocols understanding.
- Ability to operate in a 16 x 5 team schedule + on call services.
-High Level of English.
